Inspired by Istanbul Aydin University’s commitment to its objectives and understanding its importance in today’s global landscape, the IAUMUN Club was founded in 2023. Committed to bringing the Model United Nations experience to our campus, our dedicated members share a deep passion for MUN and are driven by the desire to provide others with the same enriching experiences they’ve had. Our primary goal is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to partake in MUN conferences, just as we have, and to do so in the most inclusive and impactful manner. By aligning with UNESCO’s mission to promote peace and human development, the IAUMUN Club aims to foster a culture of peace while uniting students from diverse backgrounds through our annual Model United Nations Conferences.

The IAUMUN Club envisions a future where it excels as a Model United Nations (MUN) organization in Istanbul, aiming to be recognized for its dedication and commitment. Our primary goal is to empower students with an interest in MUNs to become outstanding delegates, offering guidance and support for those who wish to explore the organizational side of MUN conferences. Additionally, we are committed to creating a legacy that can be carried forward by new generations of members, ensuring the sustained growth and success of the IAUMUN Club, beyond the current members’ tenure.

TALA M. K. ALLULU

PRESIDENT

Founder and President of IAU’MUN, I’m a third-year Aviation Management and Political Sciences student at Istanbul Aydin University. I’ve taken on various roles throughout my MUN journey, transitioning from a delegate to a chair and ultimately an organizer.
I’m excited to apply my experience to make IAU’MUN’s debut unforgettable! Looking forward to meeting you at the conference and hope it opens doors to new opportunities for everyone involved!

VICE PRESIDENT

Catch me playing the classic Good-cop, Bad-cop routine with the president of the Club – naturally, I’m the one donning the halo in this scenario. Since the dawn of our academic careers, we’ve been crafting this masterpiece of a MUN event, pouring our intellect, creativity, and, yes, even our caffeine-fueled souls into it. I can guarantee you two things: we won’t let you down, and if you miss out, you’ll have a masterclass in FOMO 101.

I am Eren, serving as the General Secretary of the IAUMUN club. Currently, I am in my second year pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Aydın University. With experience both as an esteemed delegate and having an active involvement in the organization of MUN conferences, it is my privilege to represent Istanbul Aydın University and contribute to this growing community of exceptionally talented individuals.I extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome to all our diplomats, who mark the pioneer batch of MUNs at IAU, as we embark on this exciting journey together.

PR REPRESENTATIVE

I’m Oğuz Ertürk and I will be fulfilling the role of PR Representative for our club in its first year. I’m a senior law student at our university with a deep interest in international law.I have nearly ten years of MUN experience both as a delegate and a chair. I’m truly honored to be working with all the experienced people in our team to accomplish our goal of organizing our school’s first MUN conference.Extremely excited to meet all our lovely members and work together in this endeavor.

ECE SALMAN

SUPERVISORY BOARD HEAD

I’m Ece. I am a Turkish, third-year Pre-School Teaching student. I am a person who loves to spend time with children, and I like playing the piano! I am the Head of the Supervisory Team and will be responsible for monitoring and documenting the work progress. I’m also part of our Social Media team, so don’t forget to follow up for all our updates.I love MUNs and have lots of MUN experiences as well since I have been doing them for about 7 years.As the supervisory team, we will try our best to make the IAUMUN an unforgettable conference. I can’t wait for this experience!

I’m Sara, an undergraduate student from Pakistan studying English Literature and Language. I’ll be serving as your Bookkeeper and Treasurer in the IAU MUN club.
