Agenda: Addressing the Distinct Challenges Faced by Women in the Palestinian Genocide

Amidst times of conflict and occupation, women often bear the heaviest burdens. This is particularly evident in Palestine, where decades of military occupation, forced displacement, systematic oppression, and acts of genocide have created a combination of challenges that is unique to Palestinian women.

In this committee, delegates will examine the gendered dimensions of occupation and conflict, from minimal access to healthcare, education, and political participation, to systemic violence, checkpoints, home demolitions, and the blockade. They must consider both immediate relief and long-term strategies to ensure the protection of women.

Delegates must combine empathy, strategic thinking, and advocacy to develop solutions that defend the rights, dignity, and resilience of Palestinian women, because defending Palestinian women is defending the hope, justice, and resilience of a nation.
